Levantine Middle Eastern Restaurant

Summer wrap deals are a good value (2 for $20 or 10 for $85). The dishes we got were pretty bland, which was disappointing. I’m also not a huge fan of fries in my wraps. I was really hoping to like this spot.

Had the chicken and beef shawarma platters, and the falafel platter, it was a feast. The falafel was some of the best we've had, and everything was great. Definitely gonna be back

We tried this Middle Eastern restaurant and ordered the Shawarma Platter. The service was fast, and the portion was more than enough for two people. The baklava was absolutely delicious! One thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is their “homemade” garlic mayo.

I recently dined in here for lunch. I tried the Traditional Shawarma platter. The portion size was good and could be enough for two people. The service was very friendly and fairly quick.

My family enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. We had the shwarma platter with an extra salad and all ate our fill (two adults and two children). It was so good that we ordered two chicken shwarma to go! The service was excellent and the food came quickly. We topped off the lunch with icecream and baklava. We will be back!

We came here for dinner and had to order up at the counter. We ordered the Shawarma Platter which included chicken and beef on rice and 4 sides. The food we got was very tasty except for one of the sides, meat with pastry, was still frozen. The hummus was very creamy but we didn't get any pita bread with it. The service was not good. Our food was brought out and basically thrown on the table. The server ran off before we could ask him to explain the dish that we had ordered. He never returned to ask how everything was, just sat in the back on his phone. We had to go up to the counter again when we didn't receive the dessert that we had ordered and paid extra for. He tried to charge us again for it so we had to explain that it was already paid for. This is more of a fast food place than a restaurant.

This evening we had a nice Syrian meal at Levantine. The falafel in the wrap and on the platter was perfectly cooked. The rice was a nice flavour. The tabbouleh salad was fresh and tangy. The young man who served us was friendly and attentive. The food arrived in a good time. All in all we had an enjoyable meal at an affordable price. We were the only table which was surprising given the location. The restaurant is located in the heart of James Bay village and has ample parking near by. My only recommendation to the restaurant is to replace the pink pickled cabbage. It was without much flavour and too salty. Otherwise, everything else was delicious and fresh.
